BJP may return to power in Rajasthan, Hung assembly in Delhi: India TV-CVoter projection

New Delhi: The BJP under the leadership of former chief minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia is set to storm back to power with 118 out of a total of 200 assembly seats in the forthcoming elections

In the Rajasthan assembly poll scenario, the opposition BJP is projected to win 118 seats out of a total of 200 seats, with the ruling Congress' share declining to 64 seats. BSP is projected to win three seats and Others 15 seats.



Voteshare wise, BJP is projected to get 40 per cent vote share, while the Congress is projected to get 36 pc. BSP is projected to get 4 per cent and Others 20 pc voteshare.

Among the respondents in Rajasthan, 44 per cent were in favour of Vasundhara Raje as chief minister, and 25 per cent in favour of incumbent Ashok Gehlot as chief minister. Five per cent favoured Sachin Pilot for the post.

Among Rajasthan respondents, 48 per cent favoured Narendra Modi as prime minister, and 17 pc favoured Rahul Gandhi.  69 per cent of the respondents wanted a change in government at the Centre, while 57 pc wanted a change in government in Rajasthan.
