BJP may return to power in Rajasthan, Hung assembly in Delhi: India TV-CVoter projection

New Delhi: The BJP under the leadership of former chief minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia is set to storm back to power with 118 out of a total of 200 assembly seats in the forthcoming elections

It shows a six percent vote swing away from the Congress in Delhi, and a two percent vote swing in favour of BJP. AAP may spoil the party for BJP in Delhi, according to C-Voter projections.



The silver lining for the Congress in Delhi is that 37 per cent of the respondents voted for Sheila Dikshit as chief ministerial candidate, while 18 pc opted for BJP leader Vijay Goel and 17 pc for AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.

71 per cent of respondents in Dellhi said they were in favour of a change in Central government, 55 pc wanted change in Delhi government, 69 pc wanted the nation's Prime Minister to be changed, and 51 pc were in favour of changing Delhi's chief minister.

Among the Delhi respondents, 55 per cent favoured Narendra Modi as the best PM candidate, while 18 pc favoured Rahul Gandhi.
