BJP planning wrongdoings in rest of polls: Kejriwal

Varanasi: AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal today claimed that BJP was planning “wrongdoings” in the rest of the polls and hinted that the party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi might have been putting the Election Commission

“I am levelling a serious charge against the Election Commission. You have failed to stop rigging and violence in West Bengal, Bihar and parts of western Uttar Pradesh,” Modi had said.

“Why are you not acting? What is your intention? If you feel what I am saying now is wrong, then you are free to lodge another case against me... Democracy doesn't work like this. I know how much rigging took place in the elections on April 30... Isn't it the EC's responsiblity to conduct peaceful and fair polls?” he had asked.

AAP had earlier approached the EC for more central forces in Varanasi after attacks on its volunteers. It has also asked that the activities at polling booths be video-recorded in order to avoid any kind of rigging during the election.
