New Delhi, Apr 7 : Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi today asked BJP office-bearers to map out a strategy to use the current anti-incumbency mood across the country against the Congress on issues of pricerise and corruption.
"We must create an atmosphere of rejection of Congress over issues of pricerise and corruption. We must use social media for our poll campaign, and develop our communication skills in the elections", said Modi, attending the first meeting of new BJP office-bearers here.
The office-bearers stood in ovation as Modi entered the hall to attend the meeting. Modi has been inducted as member of central parliamentary board and central election committee by the party.
"We should be careful not to make personal attacks. We should target the Congress party. We should be careful about our propensity of not being able to change the anti-Congress sentiment to a pro-BJP one", Modi said.
Briefing mediapersons, party spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said, BJP activists would try to reach people across the country and would given them two papers outling what BJP has done and what the Congress party has done.
Javadekar said, the party would strengthen its structure right up to the booth-level committees and will use technology to put across its views.
