BJP mocks at PM over UPA-III remarks

New Delhi: BJP today took a jibe at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's statement that UPA-III is not impossible and said it was comparable to a medical bulletin where the doctor says the patient is critical

At the Padma awards function at Rashtrapati Bhawan, Prime Minister Singh asserted that Congress could again form the government at the centre and said UPA-III is not impossible.

Singh was also saddened at the decision of his half- brother Daljeet Singh Kohli to join BJP.

On Kohli joining the BJP, Hussain said it shows the growing strength of BJP.

BJP's new dalit face Udit Raj also said Kohli joining the BJP showed that people are inclined towards the party.

Kohli yesterday joined BJP at a public rally in Amritsar in the presence of the party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

The entry of Kohli, a local businessman, into the BJP came a day after the prime minister rejected perceptions of a “Modi wave” in the country.
