BJP finalises 67 candidates for Chhattisgarh polls
New Delhi: The BJP Sunday finalised 67 candidates for the forthcoming assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, a party leader said.Talking to reporters after a meeting of the party's central election committee here, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
Ananth Kumar said of the 67 candidates finalised by the party, 17 belonged to the backward classes, 23 candidates belonged to scheduled tribes and nine belong to scheduled castes, he said
"There are 34 youth of whom 20 are first-timers," he added.
