New Delhi: BJP leader Vijay Jolly Wednesday accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of violating the Assembly Rules by wearing the Aam Aadmy Party (AAP) cap with the party's slogan printed on it.
According to the “Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business” of the Legislative Assembly, members cannot wear or display badges, flags, emblems or any exhibits in the House, Jolly said.
“Kejriwal attended the first session today wearing caps depicting and exhibiting his party's name on it. This is clearly violating the Delhi Legislative Assembly Rules and Procedures,” the BJP leader said.
