New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing an election rally at Dwarka Sunday, emphasized on the need for the National capital to have a ‘serious' and ‘responsible' government.

Lashing out at Aam Aadmi Party Modi said, “To be in Government is a serious responsibility. It is about understudying the pains of the common man. Running away does not help.”.

He accused Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress for secretly joining hands.

In a bid to woo voters Modi once again expressed gratitude toward people who had showered him with votes, because of which his party had a clear mandate in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

Modi said, “Today I have the support of 125 crore people of the nation, which is why whenever I meet any world leader, I look him in the eye”.

While the Opposition nullified Modi's hands in slowing speed of inflation and called him lucky, he tactfully dealt with words and gave it back to them saying, “Our opponents say that Modi is lucky, that's why prices have come down in India. If Modi is lucky for you, why bring in those to power who will bring you bad luck”.

Delhi, that had been under President's rule for almost a year since AAP supreme Arvind Kejriwal resigned from his post as the Chief Minister, is once again set to re-elect its government on February 7.

With only a week left for the actual voting day, all the parties are trying their very best to woo voters.
