New Delhi: The stylish music director Bappi Lahiri today joined the BJP in the presence of party's national president Rajnath Singh.
Bappi Lahiri is known for his own style of music composition that mainly relied on western instruments although he has also given some memorable semi-classical songs.
Recently, he had also composed for Vidya Balan starrer 'Dirty Picture' and the songs of the film became instant hits.
Some other renowned faces from film and acting world joined BJP today in the presence of Rajnath Singh.
Those who joined the party included Prashant Narayan (actor) from Kerala, Ashima Sharma (Bollywood actor), Sachindra Sharma (Bollywood writer of 'My friend Ganesha' fame), Tuhin Sinha (who wrote 'Yeh Rishta Kya kehlata Hai' serial on Star-Plus) and Gaurav Chopra (TV actor).
