Lucknow: The conflict between Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Azam Khan and Governor Ram Naik is soon to reach President Pranab Mukherjee's court. As per media reports Khan has decided to register a complaint with the president of India about the conduct of the UP governor.

On Wednesday, while talking to reporters, Azam spoke about his letter to Naik and said there is nothing wrong in writing a letter to the governor of the sate. He said that he is collecting evidence against Naik and will take that to the President.

Azam also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his double standards. He said the PM talks about religious harmony and overall development, whereas his partymen and RSS affiliated organizations were creating rifts between communities with divisive statements.

There has been a direct conflict going on between governor and the minister because of the ‘political statements' made by the former. Azam Khan called him a kar sevak in response to his comments on Ayodhya issue. In December last year, Naik had said, "Ram Mandir should be built as soon as possible. That is the wish of the Indian citizens and the wish should be fulfilled."

During a visit to Ayodhya to take part in an event organised by a VHP leader, Naik had said that the controversy would be resolved within five years as PM is working out a plan to sort it out peacefully.
