Defamation: Delhi judge asks Gadkari, Kejriwal to shake hands, Kejriwal refuses to withdraw case

New Delhi: A Delhi court judge today requested Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal and Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari to shake hands and end the defamation case, but the AAP leader refused to

The defamation suit was filed against Kejriwal by Gadkari,  after the AAP chief refused to withdraw the allegations levelled by him against the latter.

Gadkari in his defamation suit had alleged that Kejriwal had defamed him by including his name in the AAP list of “India's most corrupt.”

Gadkari told the court that “false, baseless, scandalous, defamatory statements”  have been made by Kejriwal against him  and these have lowered his dignity.
