New Delhi: New BJP president Amit Shah will be busy with the wedding of his son Jay today, when the results of Delhi Assembly elections would be announced.

Speculation is rife in Ahmedabad that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit the city to attend the high-profile wedding of BJP president's son. Sources have also confirmed the presence of senior leaders Arun Jaitley, V. Satish, and Dharmendra Pradhan on the occasion.

While several senior BJP leaders are expected to attend the high-profile event, Shah, will also hold a separate wedding reception in the National Capital on February 15, where the men and women who matter in Indian politics and industry will attend.

Two receptions have been planned - one in Ahmedabad on February 12 and another in New Delhi on February 15. Sources maintain that all chief ministers of BJP-ruled states as well as BJP MPs have been invited, but more than likely, they would attend the reception in Delhi.

Another reception will be held on Friday at the Karnavati Club, in Ahmedabad, where Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, the Leader of Opposition and all BJP MLAs, MPs and other senior leaders from Gujarat and BJP workers from Shah's assembly constituency Naranpura have been invited. Industrialists like Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani and Gautam Adani have also been invited.

As per sources close to Amit Shah, the Shah family wants to keep the wedding a close family affair. On Saturday, Shah visited the Karnavati Club to stock the arrangements.
