Know Amit Shah - Narendra Modi's 'right- hand man' who is new president of BJP

New Delhi: Finally, Amit Shah has been elected as the new President of the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).Today his election as BJP president has been ratified by BJP national council at its day long

Amit  Shah was the state's home minister and the CBI alleges that it was under his instructions that the state's top cops acted.

Mr Shah was arrested by the CBI on July 25, 2010 and was granted bail in October.  But he also had to quit the Modi government.

Ami Shah is implicated in another case - Tulsi Prajapati murder case. The CBI says Tulsi Prajapati was a witness in the Sohrabuddin case and that his killing was part of a larger conspiracy in which Mr Shah, as the then head of the state administration, was involved.

Amit Shah's name has also cropped up in the ‘Gujarat snoopgate'. In this case, Amit Shah is alleged to have ordered the surveillance of a woman on the instructions of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
