Akhilesh attacks Modi-led NDA for hike in diesel prices

Chandauli: Opening front against the newly-formed NDA government at the Centre for hike in diesel prices, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today said people of the country will see “more such things” in the

On asked about the law and order situation in the state against the backdrop of the Badaun case, Yadav asked a journalist, “I hope you have not faced any danger!."

Yadav exhorted his party workers not to lose hope after drubbing the Lok Sabha polls “as their fight was against communalism and their party has throughout followed the path of secularism”.

“We have lost elections but will not leave our political ideology. Taking to path of communalism for success (in politics) is easy but following the path of secularism is difficult. We chose the path of secularism. Our party is more democratic and gives much respect to people,” he said. 

“In this tough fight, Samajwadi Party got more votes in this parliamentary elections as compared to the previous parliamentary elections. People have lend their support to SP in this election too,” he claimed.
