“Novices are running the government. They allege that we want to topple their government, and that too Jaitley and Modi. If we had to do that, we would have formed the government earlier.
“They are now behind us because they know BJP is coming to power at the Centre under Modi,” Goel alleged. Referring to AAP's decision to hold a special session of the Assembly outside its premises to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill, Goel said it was another move by the party to get publicity. “The AAP government has not done any work in its first 30 days which could help the people of Delhi in any way; instead they have created more controversies than anyone else,” he said.
“The objective behind all this is not to find a solution to the problems of Delhiites, but the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. It is essential for them to stay in the limelight for that,” he added.
Citing media reports, Goel called for the resignations of AAP ministers Manish Sisodia and Somnath Bharti for their alleged involvement in cases of corruption.
