Rebel AAP MLA Vinod Binny threatens to go on indefinite fast if Kejriwal govt fails to fulfil its poll promise

New Delhi: Vinod Kumar Binny, the AAP MLA from Lakshmi Nagar, has threatened to go on indefinite fast from January 27 if the Kejriwal led Delhi govt fails to fulfill the promises it made in

Binny said that all decisions of party and govt are being taken behind closed doors and only a handful of leaders who are childhood friends of Kejriwal are privy to it. Binny named Manish Sisodia, Kumar Vishwas and Sanjay singh as childhood friends of Kejriwal.

He also termed the strategy of referendum adopted by Kejriwal for taking major decisions as drama as the party had already decided who will contest from which Lok Sabha seat.

He said that even during assembly elections, it was pre-decided as to who will contest from which constituence.

Launching a scathing attack on Ashutosh, the journalist-turned-politician, who has recently joined AAP, Binny said that it's Ashutosh who is opportunist as he decided to join party only after AAP made a mark for itself. Ashutosh had said yesterday that AAP does not need opportunist leaders.

"You (Kejriwal) have become a dictator. Stop fooling the people of Delhi. All decisions in the party are taken in closed rooms by four-five people. Arvind gets angry if people express any differences with him. If anyone speaks against him, he starts shouting," Binny said.

The 39-year-old-MLA said the party has "forgotten" its ideologies and become "an opportunist outfit" after coming to power.

"They are using policy of use and throw. First, they have used Anna Hazare, Kiran Bedi and still many people in the party are being exploited," he said.
