Amid a slew of stings against the Aam Aadmi Party , former Congress legislator Asif Mohammad Khan on Friday made fresh claims of having two more tapes, including one on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, which showed that the party indulged in horse-trading.
Khan had yesterday alleged that senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh offered him a ministerial berth in lieu of support. He has also claimed that he held meetings with deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia once and Sanjay Singh, another senior AAP leader, twice last year to dicuss the issue.
Khan was carrying a pendrive with himself. He claimed that he has both the audio and video excerpts of their conversation which he recorded through his wrist watch but he refused to make the recordings public. He also said that they met at the residence of an editor from a reputed media group.
However, the former Okhla MLA is yet to make the alleged stings public and remained tight-lipped on the contents of the tapes.
On being asked, what stops him from making the tapes public, Mr Khan said that it would also reveal the identity of an editor of a reputed media house who was with Sanjay Singh and it could cost him, his job.
Although AAP leader Sanjay admitted to have met Khan for government formation last year, but denied that he had offered any ministerial berth in lieu of support to the party.
Dismissing the claims made by Khan, Sanjay Singh said he would quit politics if it was proved that he offered money or any ministerial berth to Khan or anyone.
"He (Khan) had initially said that he would release the sting yesterday evening. Today, he says that he will release the sting by 12 PM. Then why does he not release the sting he has?" Singh asked.
