RS: Is it true that PM was not aware of anything that you were doing.A Raja: What decision I took. I told him unless the existing law (NTP) is changed, spectrum can't be auctioned . RS: Is it true that PM was not aware that the companies you were allocating spectrum were selling it to other companies on higher price.A Raja: Do you know through whom were they offloading? Through CCEA (cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs) where PM is the chairman. Giving license, allocating spectrum was within my domain but offloading was done through CCEA.RS: People in govt say that there is policy paralysis with bureaucrats and ministers stopping taking decisions just because of A Raja?A Raja: I wanted to implement the policy. I wanted to introduce a revolution, misinterpreted by CAG and to some extent SC.RS: If there was no scam, why did Manmoahn Singh drop you from the cabinet?A Raja: He did not remove me. I offered my resignation on the advise of my leader. The real biggest scam in the country is that the real spectrum was not disclosed to the public. I boosted rural teledensity from 8 % to 40 %. I made 50 paise per call. I gave India cheapest tariff in world . You can call me spectrum Raja.RS: If I'm to assume that you committed no wrong and PM did not ask you to resign then why did you resign?A Raja: Because you media people kept talking about Rs 1,76000 crores. In order to remove the cloud, I though till the case is over, my continuance in cabinet won't be fair. That's why I resigned.RS: Your own govt files a case against you. CBI is investigating and CBI comes directly under PM. A Raja: Because they say CBI is independent.RS: Do you believe CBI is independent?A Raja: They are claiming. Law Ministry opinion , Finance Ministry opinion, cabinet opinion is something else but CBI opinion is different. Even if there is autonomy , there should be a limit to difference. They are not agreeing with other arms of the govt. All these institutions are fighting with each other. What can I do?RS: Why are they against you?A Raja: cartel forces must be behind this. Telecom is a very big business. Those who were losing must be behind this. But CAG comparison itself is wrong. They are comparing 2G with 3G. 2G is apple . 3G is orange. How can you compare the two?RS: DMK leaders say that the party's relations with Congress got spoiled because of Raja.A Raja: Not at all. Even after my resignation, the alliance continued. When I went to jail, the alliance continued even after that. The problem came when the govt did not do enough on Tamil issue in UNO. RS: I think the relationship got spoiled when Kanimozhi was arrested, that became an issue.A Raja: Not at all..even after that the alliance continued.RS: But the relationship got soured!A Raja: DMK has always stood for policy and ideals. DMK supported the govt for secularism. When the Tamil issue came, our general council took a decision.RS: Is it because of Tamil issue or because of karunanidhi's daughter being put into jail.A Raja: Because of Tamil issue. Had it to be broken on Kanimozhi's issue then it would have happened at the time of her arrest as well. She was sent into jail without any sin?RS: Without any sin? The ED has said this - The Swan telecom paid 200 crores to kalaignar TV in the garb of legitimate loan. A Raja: It's an old wine in new bottle. The CBI charge sheet covers the entire Kalaignar TV transaction. Now they want to invoke Money laundary act. We are challenging it.RS: You want us to believe that the 200 crore given to Kanimozhi and Kalaignar TV was not a bribe.
