Reopening the debate on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s educational qualifications in the wake of an Assam court issuing a bailable warrant against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh today wondered as to why the PM was so secretive of his degrees.

The Assam court issued a bailable warrant against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday in connection with a defamation case filed against the AAP supremo concerning his  tweet on educational qualifications of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Digvijaya Singh also asked if questioning educational qualification of the Prime Minister was a crime.

“Kejriwal summoned by Assam Court for questioning Education qualification of PM. Is it a crime?” Digvijaya Singh tweeted.

“Don't People of India have a right to know educational qualification of their Prime Minister ? What is so secret about it ?” he added.

Accusing PM Modi of lying to the people of India about his educational qualification, Singh questioned why was he so secretive of his degrees.

“Why is Modi so secretive of his educational qualification ? Obviously he has lied to the People about his education,” Digvijaya Singh said.

Taking a jibe at the Prime Mnister, Digvijaya Singh said that one more lie won’t make any difference as he will continue  run of electoral successes with EVM and Hindu Muslim agenda.

“ How does it matter he has lied so many times one more won't make any difference,” Digvijaya Singh said.

“He would still keep on winning elections with EVM and Hindu Muslim agenda. May God save our Country,” he added.

On December 15 last year, Arvind Kejriwal had alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s post-12th standard degrees were fake.

“Modiji 12 pass hain. Uske baad ki degree farzi hai,” Kejriwal had tweeted.

After Kejriwal’s tweet, an Assam BJP leader Surya Rongpha filed a defamation case in the local court against Arvind Kejriwal under IPC Sections 499, 500 and 501.

The court issued the warrant after it noticed that the Delhi Chief Minister repeatedly failed to appear before it in this case .
