In a move aimed at getting first-hand feedback on the government’s move to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now reached put to the countrymen, asking them to convey their views on demonetisation directly to him via ‘Narendra Modi App’.
“I want your first-hand view on the decision taken regarding currency notes. Take part in the survey on the NM App,” he tweeted.
To take part in the demonetisation survey, one has to download the ‘Narendra Modi App’ and answer questions like:
1. Do you think black money exists in India?
2. Do you think the evil of corruption and black money needs to be fought and eliminated?
3. What do you think of the Modi government’s move of banning old Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes?
4. Did you mind the inconvenience faced in our fight to curb corruption, black money, terrorism and counterfeiting of currency?
The survey also invites people to share their suggestions, ideas or insights with the Prime Minister.
The move comes at a time when the opposition parties have united inside the Parliament to corner government, claiming that common man has been severely inconvenienced by the decision.
In a historic step, PM Modi had on November 8 late evening announced to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes to fight black money.
