Continuing his focus on development, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today launched the ‘Advanced Life Support Ambulance’ to serve the poor people of the state.

Under this scheme, two ambulances, that are laced with life-saving technologies, will be deployed in each district. Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state of the country, has 75 districts. A total of 150 ambulances were launched by the CM today.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that his government is dedicated to the poor people of the state and that it will fulfil all promises made in the BJP’s election manifesto.

The CM also took the opportunity to target the erstwhile Samajwadi Party government for not utilising the Central funds.

“The Akhilesh government neglected the health care of the state for a long time. Centre was always willing to offer funds, but the earlier state government refused fearing that credit will be given to the BJP’s government in New Delhi,” he said.

Ever since he took over as the CM of the state last month, CM Adityanath has taken several tough decisions from banning illegal slaughterhouses, forming anti-Romeo squads to ensuring discipline and efficiency in the government machinery.

Earlier in the day, he had visited Yahiaganj Gurudwara in Lucknow on the auspicious occasion of Vaisakhi.
