Sending out yet another strong message to Pakistan, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said that those provoking India will not be spared.

Referring to the ‘surgical attacks’ carried out by the Indian Army inside Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Singh said, “in last few days, we have displayed our strength. We have sent out a message to the world that India is a strong country.”

The Home minister said that India will not attack any country without any provocation.

However, he added that India will not shy away from giving a befitting reply if it is provoked.

“We believe that we’ll not provoke anybody. However, we won’t spare either if anyone provokes us,” he said.

On Saturday, Rajnath Singh had said that although India never attacks anyone, it will retaliate and "not count the bullets" if attacked.

"Our heritage is 'Vasudev Kutumbakam' meaning the whole world is one family. We do not intend to occupy others' land. We never open fire first, but if attacked, in retaliation we never count the bullets after pulling the trigger," he told BSF personnel in Rajasthan.
