Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss his upcoming biographical film, "Sachin: A Billion Dreams".
The 44-year-old sports icon took to Twitter to share a picture from his meeting with Modi.
"Briefed our Hon'ble PM @narendramodi about the film #SachinABillionDreams and received his blessings," Tendulkar captioned the photo.
The star was accompanied by his wife Anjali.
"Thank you for your inspiring message @narendramodi 'Jo khele, Wahi khile!' Could not have agreed more. #SachinABillionDreams," he wrote along side another picture.
The Prime Minister also tweeted about the meeting.
"Had a very good meeting with @sachin_rt. His life journey and accomplishments make every Indian proud & inspire 1.25 billion people," he wrote.
Produced by Ravi Bhagchandka under the banner of 200NotOut, the movie is directed by British filmmaker James Erskine.
AR Rahman has composed the music for the film. The biographical drama is all set for a worldwide release on May 26.
