Congress releases candidate list for Rajya Sabha elections. Big names like Digvijaya Singh, KT Tulsi, Rajiv Satav among others have found mention in the list released by the Congress on Thursday evening. All India Congress Committee General Secretary KC Venugopal is being fielded from Rajasthan along with Neeraj Dangi. Congress is currently recovering from the shock of Jyotiraditya Scindia from the party.
Madhya Pradesh is set to witness keen fight between BJP and Congress candidates as BJP has already awarded candidacy to Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sumer Singh Solanki. They will be fighting against Congress' Digvijaya Singh and Phool Singh Baraiya.
Both, Congress and BJP have enough MLAs in Madhya Pradesh Assembly to ensure victory for one of their candidates. However, tough fight is expected to take place for the third seat.
