Preparations are in full swing in Gorakhpur for newly appointed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath maiden visit.
Since early morning, thousands of Yogi supporters have thronged the Gorakhnath Math, the residence of the 44-year-old politician.
This will be his first visit to Gorakhpur after taking over as the CM of Uttar Pradesh. He has represented the Gorakhpur Lok Sabha seat for the last five terms as a Member of Parliament.
In last one week, the CM has taken several major decisions from banning illegal slaughterhouses to crackdown on cow smuggler and launching cleanness drive across all government offices.
Yogi Adityanath was sworn-in as the 21st CM of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday at a mega event here which was attended by PM Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah and among several others including SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son Akhilesh.
