Congress party leader Sushilkumar Shinde on Thursday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and alleged that he is trying to create a “Hindu Rashtra”.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to create a Hindu Rashtra (nation). No one trusts him,” said Sushilkumar Shinde after casting his vote during the second phase of polling for the Lok Sabha elections 2019.
Voting for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019 began on Thursday morning at 7 am.
The general election is scheduled to be held in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019 to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha. The counting of votes will be conducted on 23 May, and on the same day the results will be declared.
Legislative Assembly elections in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim will be held simultaneously with the general election.
