The no-confidence motions submitted by Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and YSR Congress were not taken up in the Lok Sabha once again due to ruckus. The two Andhra parties had submitted three requests to move the no-confidence motion against the Modi government, protesting non-implementation of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014.
This was the third time that the motion was entertained due to the din in the House. The Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan could not take up the motions on last Friday or Monday as well.
YSR Congress' YV Subba Reddy has written to Lok Sabha Secretary General to, give notice to include no-confidence motion in the list of business for tomorrow.

09:40 am: A former Lok Sabha secretary general said yesterday that din in the House should not be a hurdle in taking up a notice of no-confidence motion against the government. "It is a special motion and the Speaker merely informs the members of the notice. If the motion is in order (the documentation is as per rules), she can go ahead," Former Lok Sabha secretary general P D T Acharya told PTI. Once 50 members stand up in support of the motion, the Speaker only decides on the date and time when it will come up for debate, he said. He also noted that to give a notice of no-confidence motion was the right of a Lok Sabha member and this "right cannot be curtailed."

09:30 am: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu yesterday asked TDP MPs and senior leaders to impress upon other opposition parties the need to bring in the no-confidence motion against the Modi government.
09:00 am: The TDP MPs informed Chandrababu Naidu that only TRS and AIADMK members were in the well of Lok Sabha today while all others remained seated. “Other parties stood in support of our motion. Trinamool Congress, NCP, AAP, RJD and Communist parties extended support to us,” TDP Parliamentary Party leader Thota Narasimham said. Chandrababu remarked that the whole nation was watching how each party was behaving.
