In yet another attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Kumar Modi today alleged that his servant “gifted” two plots of land in Patna to Lalu’s wife Rabri Devi and daughter Hema Yadav despite being a Below Poverty Line (BPL) card holder.
Sushil Modi, who has been making a series of allegations against Lalu and his family, termed Lalu’s servant as a “surrogate”.
“The property Lalu has been gifted is like a surrogate mother keeps the child of other man in her womb. The servant kept Lalu's property with him,” said Modi.
He also claimed that Lalu transferred benami property worth Rs 1 crore to his wife Rabri Devi and fifth daughter Hema Yadav including land and house in Patna in 2014 via his servant Lallan Chowdhary.
Sushil Modi said that he has documentary proof to substantiate the allegations levelled by him.
According to a news agency, Modi has demanded Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to investigate the matter and asserted that he would write to the Income Tax Department regarding Lalu’s benami properties.
Earlier, he had accused Lau’s son and Bihar Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav of being illegally allotted a petrol pump near Patna.
Modi claimed that Pratap was allotted a petrol pump of Bharat Petroleum on New Bypass Road, near Beur here, in 2011, after furnishing fake documents in connivance with an official of the oil marketing company.
