Patna: Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav has countered Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's claim that the RJD supremo forcefully hugged him during swearing-in-ceremony of Nitish Kumar government in the state.
Speaking during his visit to Rewari for a convocation event at a private college., Lalu said, Kejriwal claimed I forcefully hugged him during a rally in Bihar. Is he a heroine from Mumbai that I would forcefully want to hug him,”
The veteran politician also backed Congress president Sonia Gandhi alleging the BJP government is protecting corruption of Sadhus who have become traders.
If Sonia Gandhi is not honest then nobody is honest in this country. If the Union government is really serious about probing corruption or wrongful gains, it should probe into the wealth amassed by babas over the period of the past 18 months. Sadhus have now turned traders. Baba Ramdev is selling mustard oil," Lalu said.
Yadav also flayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the issue of black money.
"For the years they (BJP leaders) were talking about bringing back black money from abroad. But now they are the ones who are quietly converting that money into white, he added.
