After being convicted in the fodder scam case pertaining to fraudulent withdrawal of more than Rs 89 lakh from Deoghar Treasury, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav today launched a scathing attack on the BJP and accused it of playing dirty and immoral political games.

In a series of tweets, Lalu said that whenever anyone from the lower hierarchy challenged the unjust order, they were deliberately punished.

“ Shrewd BJP plays dirty and immoral political games to spoil public perception of its opponents and cover its unreal promises and misdeeds,” Lalu Prasad  tweeted.

“A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes. ....But still prevails...In the end though,” he added.

In another tweet, Lalu said that powerful people and powerful classes always managed to divide society into ruling and the ruled classes.

“And whenever anyone from the lower hierarchy challenged this unjust order, they would be deliberately punished,” he added.

Interestingly, Lalu drew an analogy with icons like Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and Baba Saheb Ambedkar and said that history would have  treated them as villains, had they failed in their efforts.

“They still are villains for the biased, racist and caste-ist minds. No one should expect any different treatment,” Lalu added.

Terming his fight as “dharmayuddha”, Lalu claimed that he was not alone as the entire Bihar stood with him in this war.

“ You can harass me but cannot defeat me,” Lalu added.
