Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh today asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to give public speeches on sensitive issues like Kashmir unrest and atrocities on Dalits.
According to Digvijay Singh, the Prime Minister should participate on these subjects in the parliament.
“ If you look at the political life of Modi ji, you should assess how much time he spent in the Assembly during his tenure as Gujarat CM. But we are happy that after becoming the Prime Minister, his participation in the parliament has increased,” Digvijay Singh said.
“He is raising sensitive issues during his public speeches. Instead, he should discuss these issues in parliament,” he added.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi had said that a handful of people were creating problems in Kashmir.
"The boys, who should be holding laptops, bats and balls in their hands and dreams in their hearts, are ones carrying stones," PM Modi said.
