CM Adityanath says laxity in work will not be tolerated, orders installation of biometric machines

To crack down on employees who are in the habit of reaching office late, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today ordered to install biometric machines at all the government offices.

The newly appointed UP CM, during a meeting with ministers, chief secretaries and secretaries of the departments of which he is in-charge at Shastri Bhavan, assessed the works of officials and ordered that no laxity in work will be tolerated.

He said that those who will fail to punch on time will face disciplinary action. Besides, he said that CCTVs be installed in all rooms to keep an eye on the staff.

The UP CM Yogi Adityanath said that officers must take immediate steps to address the grievances of public.

On medical services, he said that concerned officials should ensure doctors are present in the hospitals and medicines are available at affordable rates. He also said that arrangements be made to open 3,000 medical stores so that drugs are easily available.

Yogi also ordered to maintain transparency in purchase and distribution of wheat among poor people.

It should be noted, on the very first day of his office, the CM had ordered all government employees to be punctual.

On reports that anti-Romeo squads were harassing couple in public, the CM made it clear that genuine couple should not be touched at any cost.

In last one week, the CM had taken several major decisions from banning illegal slaughterhouses to crackdown on cow smuggler and launching cleanness drive across all government offices. 

Yogi Adityanath was sworn-in as the 21st CM of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday at a mega event here which was attended by PM Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah and among several others including SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son Akhilesh.
