New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today slammed Delhi Chief Minister for spreading lies about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s educational qualifications.
Speaking to media, party president Amit Shah said that he will wrote to Kejriwal so that he is reassured on the matter.
Shah also put forward both the degrees of the Prime Minister -- BA from DU and MA from Gujarat University – in the public domain.
“It is very unfortunate that we have to hold this press meet to clarify Prime Minister's educational qualification status. Arvind Kejriwal tried to turn a blatant lie into truth and create confusion among public by saying PM’s degrees are fake,” Shah said.

"Arvind Kejriwal ji has not only lowered down the standards of public life but has also defamed the nation across the world," Shah added.
The BJP president also said that Arvind Kejriwal must apologize to entire nation and must clarify on what grounds he levelled such serious allegations.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley who was also present with Shah said public discourse has ‘stooped so low’ in the wake of baseless allegations by Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
He added that Kejriwal's allegations are coming from a party whose MLAs are prosecuted for disclosing fake degrees.
"This politics of adventurism is being treated as a substitute for governance in the Union Territory of Delhi," Jaitley said.
Kejriwal has been attacking PM Modi over his educational qualifications. He had claimed that the Prime Minister never enrolled himself at the DU and thus the BA degree provided by him the election affidavits are false.
