A newbie in politics, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son and Bihar Health minister Tej Pratap is not just social media savvy but also ensures he tries something different on every occasion for his followers.
After the immense ‘success’ of his avatar of Lord Krishna on New Year’s day across platforms, a new picture of him now shows him don the avatar of a “jalebiwala”.
After Lord Krishna, Tej Pratap dons ‘jalebiwala’ avatar on Basant Panchami
On Wednesday, Tej Pratap organised an event on the occasion of Basant Panchami at his official residence – 3, Deshratna Marg – where he was seen wearing a dhoti kurta with sandalwood smeared on his forehead.
In the picture, Tej Pratap can be seen sitting on a chair and making jalebis for the Saraswati Puja on the first day of Basant Panchami celebrations.
The pictures of Tej Pratap in Krishna avatar had instantly gone viral and had caught Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s attention too who threw the “Krishna Kanhaiya” jibe at Tej during his visit to Patna for the Prakash Parv.
Tej Pratap tried to downplay the jibe, asserting that there was nothing wrong with what the PM had said as he indeed was a descendant of Lord Krishna.
Tej Pratap had gone on a religious visit to Vrindavan in December where he spent almost a week. According to Tej Pratap, a devotee in Vrindavan had gifted him the turban and flute and requested him to wear it on New Year's Day – a request he gladly obliged.
