Union Minister and BJP MP Babul Supriyo today blasted Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) for threatening to prevent the screening of Karan Johar’s upcoming film “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” in theatres.
Terming MNS ‘a party of goons’, Babul Supriyo said that the party can’t decide what people must watch.
“MNS should not have the right or audacity to create ruckus at theatres,” he said.
After his meeting with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Babul Supriyo said, “MNS workers are just trying to create fear in others mind, they don’t have any right to play with law and order.”
Meanwhile, Film & Television Producers Guild of India president Mukesh Bhatt also met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today and said that the minister has assured full support for the peaceful release of Karan Johar's film which ran into trouble for featuring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
Earlier Mukesh Bhatt had said that those who do not want to watch the film are free to do so, but they must not stop others.
