  • M S Dhoni: Although “Captain Cool” has denied all the rumours of him walking away from international cricket after the ongoing World T20, many still believe that Dhoni will hang his boots if he is able to take India to glory in the current World T20 Championship. However, cricket specialists believe that his best playing days are yet to come. The 34-year-old Indian skipper has already said good bye to test cricket last year.

  • Shane Watson: One of the most destructive batsmen in T20 format and IPL, Shane Watson has indicated his retirement plans from T20I cricket post the ongoing World T20 Championship. Awarded T20 Player of the Year award in 2012 and 2013, Watson is the highest bid player for the upcoming IPL season and will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

  • Shahid Afridi: The inconstant retirement plans of the great Pakistani all-rounder have left both cricketers and fans confused. Having served his team for the past 20 years, 36-year-old Afridi has already retired from test cricket in 2010 and from ODIs last year after Pakistan lost to Australia in the quarter finals of the 2015 World Cup. He has captained the team in 35 T20Is that include 16 wins and 19 losses.

One of the most feared bowlers in the world, Malinga has not only bagged two World Cup hat-tricks and three ODI hat-tricks, but is also the only bowler to claim four wickets in four consecutive balls in any form of cricket.

  • Nathan McCullum The 35-year-old Kiwi spinner has already intimated about his retirement from international cricket at the end of the season saying that he wants to spend more time with his family. Nathan, the elder brother of former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum, has bagged 63 wickets from 84 ODIs and 55 wickets from 61 T20Is till date.
