A heart winning gesture: PM Modi serves langar at Golden Temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today bowled us over with his down to earth attitude as he served langar at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. He along with Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani arrived in the holy town to attend the Heart of Asia conference and had a visit to the Golden Temple. Everybody was in for a surprise when he reached the langar hall of the Golden Temple along with President Ghani and served food.

The temple premise was decorated with lights and flowers and the two leaders were taken to various parts of the temple complex.

PM Modi and Ashraf Ghani also offered prayers at the temple and spent over 30 minutes braving cold weather.
