    Omar Abdullah on Wednesday sworn in as Jammu and Kashmir's new Chief Minister. In the recently concluded assembly elections, Omar contested two seats Ganderbal and Budgam and won both.

    Surinder Kumar Choudhary, NC MLA from Nowshera, took oath as the new Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. He had defeated BJP state president Ravinder Raina in a close contest by a margin of over 7, 000 votes.
