Dhakis are one of the main highlights of Durga Puja in Kolkata. The enthusiastic drum beats not only imbibe the festive spirit but is also a family business and tradition for many. Before the covid 19 pandemic, the Dhakis could easily earn above Rs 20k. But from last year, the rates for Dhakis were badly hit.
