Renowned designer Tarun Tahilani, who is known for his Bollywood creations had designed the Indian athletes’ uniforms for the 2024 Paris Olympics. People questioned Tahiliani's inventiveness and dedication to the project because the Indian uniforms seemed drab and uninspired in comparison to those of the other nations. The end effect was a dull design that was largely seen as a fashion catastrophe.

Aishwarya Rai is known for her fashion sense and she is one of the most anticipated Indian celebrities at Cannes every year. However, this year she disappointed everyone with her fashion choices. The actress initially donned a flashy Falguni Shane Peacock gown in blue and silver, then a floor-length black-and-white dress that completely fell short. Fans weren't impressed because the outfit was ruined by ridiculous accessories and her hair and cosmetics didn't fully capture her attractiveness.

Although there was room for improvement, the idea was a complete failure and fell short of the Met Gala's theme.
