    Dilip Joshi as Jethalal Champaklal Gada   Actor Dilip Joshi who has been playing this character since the beginning of the show has enjoyed a huge fan following. The actor plays the affable Gujarati electronics store owner Jethalal Gada in the show. On his birthday, fans of the actor shared how they have grown up watching the show, and how they keep watching old episodes repeatedly, just to enjoy Jethalal's humour.

    Disha Vakani aka Dayaben   Though Disha Vakani, who played the role of Dayaben in the show had quit in 2017 but even today the actress is remembered for her iconic character. Her quirks and catchphrase, 'Hey Maa, Mataji.'

    Bhavya Gandhi as Tapu   Actor Bhavya Gandhi played the role of Jethalal and Dayaben’s son Tipendra Jethalal Gada aka Tapu in the show. After working in the show as a child artist for eight years, he left it in 2017. He was replaced by actor Raj Anadkat who has been playing the character for four years now.

    Amit Bhatt as Champaklal Gada   Amit Bhatt who is popularly known as ‘Bapuji’ in the show has been one of the most loved characters of the show. Not many know, the actor is younger than his on-screen son Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal in real life. He was only 35 years old when he started playing the role of a grandfather on the show.

    Kavi Kumar Azad as Dr Haathi   Actor Kavi Kumar Azad who played the role of Dr Hathi died in 2018 after suffering a cardiac arrest. Later, actor Nirmal Soni, who originally played the part when the show was launched in 2008 returned to the show.
