Pratyusha Banerjee laid to rest; family friends bid teary good-bye

  • TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, known for her role of adult Anandi in the popular serial ‘Balika Vadhu’, allegedly committed suicide on Friday. The tragic demise of the actress has left the telly world in a state of shock, with many expressing that it is devastating that the "vibrant" and "lively" star got into a state of depression and took such an extreme step. Pratyusha's close friends from the industry including Ejaz Khan, Kamya Punjabi, Rakhi Sawant, Ratan Rajput among others attended her last rites at the Oshiwara crematorium. The actress was dressed like a bride in a designer lehenga for her last rites.
