Byomkesh Bakshi (1993 and 1997) One of the cult classics, Byomkesh Bakshi has just made a comeback on Doordarshan during the lockdown after viewers' huge demand. Basu Chatterjee's show had two seasons and was critically acclaimed. It was also the most celebrated adaptation of the character.
