For bike enthusiasts, this news could be a glad tiding. The manufacturer has started testing the upcoming KTM 390 Duke. The spy images of what appear to be the 2017 version of KTM 390 Duke, has been doing rounds on the internet these days. The bike looks more aggressive than the existing version with a restyled fuel tank and extended scoops. Under the hood, there is not much change but we hope that the company might make some technical updates in order to improve the performance. The new KTM 390 Duke httpswww.bikedekho.combikektmktm-duke-390.html was spotted doing final test runs in Spain. The most noteworthy change that you can see is the redesigned fuel tank. Furthermore, to make the machine even meaner and aggressive, the sharp tank scoops have been integrated that enhances the overall appeal. The seats have also been redesigned and the underbelly exhaust has been replaced by a canister exhaust.

The tail lamp section has also received a makeover and the new unit looks edgier than the current one. The current KTM 390 Duke comes powered by a 373cc, single-cylinder engine that has been mated to a six-speed transmission. The fuel-injected motor churns out a maximum power of 44bhp at 9,500rpm with a peak torque of 35Nm at 7,250rpm. Built on a tubular double cradle frame, the bike has been equipped with inverted forks at the front along with monoshock at the rear. The bike rides on Metzeler rubber to offer a good on-road grip and stability. Other features include a dual-channel ABS, fully digital instrument console and a futuristic body styling. 2017 KTM 390 Duke is expected to be launched by next year, with an expected unveil in late 2016. With KTM has already updated its lineup a few days ago, there isn’t a healthy possibility that the new bike could make its entry anytime soon.
