New Delhi: So confident is Republican Donald Trump of his victory in next year's presidential election that he has postponed his meeting with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu till he becomes the president of United States.
The presidential frontrunner has drawn flak from around the world after he called for “complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States”
Israeli PM has earlier released a statement while disapproving of his controversial remarks but stated that he will still meet with the real estate tycoon.
"The State of Israel respects all religions and strictly guarantees the rights of all its citizens," the statement said.
“At the same time, Israel is fighting against militant Islam that targets Muslims, Christians and Jews alike and threatens the entire world.”
A petition to ban Donald Trump from entering the UK has now passed 380,000 signatures, and will be considered for debate in the House of Commons.
