If you have to surf the net whole day for some or other reason you are sure to come across numerous odd stories, some weird news and some funny that will leave you stunned.So take sometime out and have a look at different types of things happening around you. 1) Crocodile gulps phone, starts ringingThis Ukraine woman, Rimma Golovko on her trip to the Zoo had dropped her cell phone accidentally in a crocodile pen at an aquarium in the eastern city of Dnipropetrovs'k. To take her cell phone she did stretch out her arm. She even tried to snap a photo of Gena (the crocodile) opening his mouth but then the phone slipped which accidentally went into the crocodile's stomach. The workers who were present at the spot didn't believe her until her cell phone that was in Gena's stomach started ringing which then persuaded them to believe her. 2) A Taiwanese man sued neighbors over insulting birdSuppose your children had a fight with the neighbor children, so will you sue them for this reason only? But as the news reads in Taiwan's daily newspaper- A Taiwan based electrician, Wang Han-chin sued his five neighbors for training their mynah bird to insult him.He states that every morning when he is about to leave for his work the nasty bird curses at him by calling him a “clueless, big-mouthed idiot”. The insulting words were not bearable to him following which he filed the complaint. The insulting words too caused him serious distress and were even the cause of his loss of concentration at work resulting in burn injuries, he said in his statement to a newspaper. 3) Dead Japanese father kept hidden in wardrobe for five yearsHow can you keep someone in a wardrobe even if they are your loved ones? It's neither good for you nor its better for them. In Kyoto (Japan) this 55-year-old man did not open his mouth to reveal the death of his father. He kept him stuffed in a wardrobe for five long years. Isn't this shocking as well as weird news? He hasn't revealed his father's death so that he could continuously receive government pension checks in his father's name.The case came into the lime light when the man was admitted to hospital. His wife then went in the apartment who noticed something suspicious. An investigation for this serious offence and fraud case put this man behind the bars. 4) Drug-Smuggling pigeon captured carrying cocaine, marijuana to Colombia prisonersCan you believe that not only humans but even the birds do smuggle things that are considered illegal? Really, gone are the days when pigeons were used to send messages. Now, they are used for smuggling purpose so that nobody can suspect the person behind this. There seem to be the shortage of human beings for smuggling or else what could be the reason of bringing pigeon in use for smuggling of drugs? This news left many people enthralled when a drug-smuggling pigeon was captured outside a Colombian jail. The bird was discovered by two police officers at a street away from Bucaramanga Prison. When the criminal bird was struggling to fly into the correctional facility with 1.6 ounces of marijuana that was impoverished to its back in a white paper package, it was caught. The bird (pigeon) was not able to fly as the parcel was overweight thus it got caught.5) 110-year-old man finds 82-year-old willing to be his wifeMarriage has got nothing to do with age is proved by this man. This 110-year-old Malaysian man wanted to marry and was looking for the partner and destiny favored him.This example helped me to recall the famous quote- When you really want something; the whole universe conspires in helping you achieve it. An 82-year-old woman finally responded to his call to be his bride. Ahmad Mohamad Isa has 20 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Moreover, he married the 82 year old Sanah Ahmad, a widow of 30 years and mother of nine. In fact, Ahmad's four wives have already died and he had now divorced the fifth one to get a new partner. Isn't it strange?6) Alive man receives his death certificateAll major newspapers had read the same headline-Alive man receives his death certificate as if it has left all people shocked. A 70-year-old man, resident of Noida Sector-22 received a photocopy of his death certificate by post at Chaura Raghunathpur area in Noida. The death certificate declared him dead as on August 18th, 2010.7) Chinese truck driver had a dramatic escapeA Chinese truck driver's vehicle distanced out on the major road that brusque the concrete wall and turned over the edge. The man was successful to cheat death in which single punctured tyre and some tattered metal sheet near the diesel tank played the major role.The truck luckily got hanged on to the concrete barrier, notwithstanding upside down. The truck plunged 200 feet into the gorge below in rural China. The rescuers risked their own lives to save the life of the driver who could have died even if there was the minor mistake.8) Indian Bride Discovers Husband is a WomanIndian bride, Minati Khatua and her family were fooled by the groom, Sitakant Routray who later was discovered to be a ‘woman'.
