Visit the restaurant near Tokyo where monkeys serve as waiters

Tokyo: There is a restaurant in the city of Utsunomiya, north of Tokyo, Japan where monkeys serve customers hot towels before meals and take their drink orders in exchange for boiled soya beans as tips. The restaurant name is Kayabukiya Tavern. It has employed a pair of uniformed Japanese macaque called Yat-chan and Fuku-chan to serve patrons.Yat-chan is twelve-year-old. He is dressed in a shirt and shorts while he takes customers' drink orders and delivers them to the diners' tables. Yat-chan has been reportedly performing the job for a longer time. Yat-chan moves quickly between tables taking drinks to customers.Fuku-chan, is currently four years old and has the main duty of bringing the attendees hot towels to clean their hands before ordering drinks. Fuku-chan has only two years of experience.Yat-chan and Fuku-chan are certified by the local authorities to work in the tavern.The Kayabukiya Tavern belongs to Kaoru Otsuka. Kaoru Otsuka originally kept the monkeys as household pets but one day when Kaoru Otsuka gave Yat-chan a hot towel out of curiosity , he brought the towel to the customer.It was then Kaoru Otsuka realized that monkeys were capable of working in the restaurant.The monkeys work in shifts of up to two hours a day due to Japanese animal rights regulations.According to the reports Kaoru Otsuka is training more monkeys to work as waiters as guests here love to be served by sapiens.
