Tokyo: There is a restaurant in the city of Utsunomiya, north of Tokyo, Japan where monkeys serve customers hot towels before meals and take their drink orders in exchange for boiled soya beans as tips.
The restaurant name is Kayabukiya Tavern. It has employed a pair of uniformed Japanese macaque called Yat-chan and Fuku-chan to serve patrons.
Yat-chan is twelve-year-old. He is dressed in a shirt and shorts while he takes customers' drink orders and delivers them to the diners' tables. Yat-chan has been reportedly performing the job for a longer time. Yat-chan moves quickly between tables taking drinks to customers.
