The doctors then delivered the baby, which was due in three weeks. It was technically a post-mortem delivery as Erica's heart was not beating.
Soon after, doctors noticed that Erica's heart had started beating again.
Now three months later, both Erica and her baby Elayna are getting healthier.
"She's just a baby," said Erica. "A normal baby."
