Beijing: The death toll in the Tianjin warehouse explosions rose to 161 on Saturday, with 12 people still missing three weeks after the blasts, according to rescue authorities.
The dead include 96 firefighters, 11 policemen and 54 civilians. The missing include eight firefighters and four civilians, Xinhua reported.
Hundreds more remain in hospital.
Two blasts ripped through a warehouse at around 11.30 p.m. on August 12 in Tianjin Port, where large amounts of toxic chemicals were stored, including around 700 tonnes of sodium cyanide.
